Leaders must have integrity and be responsible for their mistakes. Distinct groups of people are more inventive than homogenous groups. Diversity generates ideas and originality. A high performance culture with strong systems and strategies will bring greater success. Those components, united with practical competencies and a strong company mission, will create a high-performance company. Not all employees will work out at your company. As a leader it is your job to place them in a position that best fits their abilities. Leaders should always consider the changes needed to be a leader in the marketplace and fulfill the company purpose.

The success of a leader can be measured by the influence upon a company after the leader is no longer there. If the leader’s impact is still recognizable within the organization, then that leader has had a strong impact. If not, the reverse will be seen.
